Our coaches are USA Gymnastics trained and certified. We love our sport and seek to provide each and every gymnast with classes full of fun and learning! Can't wait to see you in the gym!
Hello! I'm Nikelle and am excited to welcome you to Rise Gymnastics. I found my love for gymnastics at the age of 15, when I started coaching preschool classes. Through my college years, I developed my dream of owning a gym. What an amazing blessing it is to see that dream come to be! I have over 10 years of coaching experience and 3 years of leadership experience. I'm committed to doing my best to meet the needs of children, families, and the community.
Head Team Coach, Assistant Director
I started off as just a parent that was asked to help a class. A year in, I was asked to be a short term director for the program. A temp post that lasted 5 years. I have had the honor of teaching all levels from young gymnasts to both our competitive teams over the last 10 plus years. Outside the gym I help other gyms with camps and sit on the Iowa USA Gymnastics Committee as the Qualifying Score Tracker and State Xcel Representative. I have come to truly love the sport of gymnastics for its beautiful variety and ability to empower gymnasts with life enhancing skills.
Boys Team Coach, Xcel Assistant
Summer Camp Director, Coach
Hi everyone, I'm Lindsay! I started off my gymnastics career in recreational gymnastics and eventually joined the Xcel team and transitioned to the Junior Olympic team. I competed gymnastics for 6 years and had the time of my life performing my favorite sport in the world. Most recently, I was the head coach of the Junior Olympic team for the 2017-2018 season where I got to train our awesome all-around champions! Summer camp is another huge passion of mine - I love to create fun and educational moments that will be the highlight of the gymnast's summer! You may not see me around too often as I'm off to college this fall, but I'm excited about the coaching I'm able to do! See you in the gym!
PreGym, Girls 1 and 2, Gladiators Coach
Hello! My name is Madi Mulder and I am a coach here at Rise Gymnastics! Before coaching I had a fairly long career as a gymnast myself. I started when I was about three and continued till age 13 competing in both the Excel and Junior Olympic teams. At this point I was forced to quite due to a injury/disease in my foot that was causing too many problems. I still love the sport and wants to stay involved in any way possible so I started coaching for Galaxy Gymnastics for about a year. Once I heard Galaxy was closing I got a message from Nikelle asking if I would want to come over and coach at her new gym. I barely had time to breathe before I had already answered yes! Hearing of all the amazing facilities Nikelle was going to put up filled my heart with so much joy. Nikelle had been my coach for years. I knew she would be perfect for this job and will make this gym great. I can’t wait to be apart of the staff and teach all of your children the sport I fell in love with and can’t get away from. Maybe some of them will find that same love. Come in and see me at Rise Gymnastics!
